Blue Moon reports Springer core assays; stockpile results remain pending
Blue Moon Metals released initial historical-core assays from its Springer tungsten project in Nevada on 22 September. Final assays cover about 18% of the historical core length. Separately, results are pending for 499 grab samples collected from 28 surface stockpiles.

The company expects the stockpiles to provide initial mill feed in 2027 and is combining sampling with a LiDAR survey to estimate available tonnage. It also disclosed that the Bureau of Land Management approved an exploration notice covering 13 drill pads on 10 September.

Core grades and planned mill-feed grades answer different questions
The core assays help fill gaps in the underground mineralization data. The planned initial mill feed comes from existing surface stockpiles, a different material population. High-grade core intervals therefore do not establish the stockpiles’ tungsten content per tonne or the amount suitable for processing. Pending stockpile assays and tonnage estimates will give the 2027 feed plan a firmer material basis.
The approved notice covers new drilling and tailings sampling, allowing exploration work to advance. The grade, available quantity and processing suitability of the planned stockpile feed still depend on the separate stockpile assessment.
